Portia and I are on our way to San Diego just like this time last year. With one exception, we're in Marfa, TX this time not Dallas. One year ago today , after 91 different locations and over 30,000 total miles driven - with and without the Airstream, we embarked on this journey. Yes a lot has happened in that time, however being back in Texas it actually feels as if no time has passed. The calendar and my mind tell me it has been one year, but it doesn't feel that way at all. This visit to San Diego will certainly be subdued
since my friend is gone, but it will be nice to be back nonetheless.
I will be back with another post soon with additional pics. I know it's been a while since my last entry so just wanted to check in and wish everyone a Happy New Year.
